History

Dameon first joined the SCA a long long time ago, in a Barony far far away. One day he stumbled out of the tavern to be cajoled by Don Francois to join into the fencing, as a way of filling in time between drinks. This fateful day saw his life changed irrevocably, as his time and finances became increasingly consumed by his fencing habit.

In AS XX (1995) Dameon took on the office of Lochac Principality Rapier Marshal, continuing until the infamous West Kingdom Fencing Ban™ in AS XXI (1996). Dameon continued in the office under the title of Rapier Rules Research Deputy, and in ASXXIII (1998) with the return of legalised fencing once again resumed the office of Principality Rapier Marshal.

On the 1st of Oct AS XXXIII (1998), Their Royal Majesties Jade & Siobhan did officially recognise the West Kingdom Royal Guild of Fence, and did elevate Dameon Greybeard to the rank of Ancient Guildmaster.

On the 6th of July, AS XXXVII (2002), Their Royal Majesties Alfar and Elspeth did elevate Dameon Greybeard as one of the founders of the Order of the White Scarf of Lochac. The scarf given to Don Dameon was a gift from TRM Alfar & Elspeth, Crown of Lochac. Don Dameon did also receive a second scarf as a gift from HRM Britta, Queen of Ansteorra.

On the 2nd May, AS L (2015), Their Royal Majesties Kinggiyadai and Altani did elevate Dameon Greybeard to the Order of Defence as one of the 3 premier members of the Order.
