History
I joined the Society at the beginning of 1990 and became a heavy fighter. Introduced mace fighting to Innilgard. I was Prince of Lochac from September 1992 to January 1993, during which time I became acquainted with Edmund the Lame and Francois Henri Guyon and rapier combat in the Society.
On the 2nd of January AS XXVIII (1993), Their Highnesses John and Gabriel did elevate Aylwin Greymane to the rank of Viscount.
Continued with my fencing interest, as well as heavy fighting afterwards. Heavy fighter trainer in Innilgard from 1995 to 1999. Edmund took me on as a fencing cadet in 1996 and the partnership continued on for several very productive years.
After The Ban™ I was coerced (1) into the position of Innilgard Baronial Rapier Marshal by ibn Jelal and others at Rowany in 2001, and I have stayed in fencing since. I am also a rapier trainer for the Barony. I have held the offices of Baron, Baronial Rapier Marshal, Captain of Archers, Chronicler and Seneschal, been (voice) Herald for the College of Saint Christina the Astonishing, and Lochac Seneschal.
On the 7th of June, AS XXXVIII (2003), Their Royal Majesties Cornelius and Morwynna did elevate Aylwin Greymane to the Order or the White Scarf of Lochac.
On the 25th of September, AS XLV (2010), Their Royal Majesties Edmund and Eleanor did elevate Aylwin Greymane to the Order of the Pelican for his service to the Kingdom.
On the 18th of June, AS LI (2016), Their Royal Majesties Gilbert and Bethony did elevate Aylwin Greymane to the Order of Defence for his prowess.

Footnotes
(1) There was no coercion involved on my part in getting Alywin to take the position. He asked me how someone got the job when I was Lochac PRM, and all I said was “sign here”! Now Greybeard on the other hand, him I would believe did all the arm twisting! – ibn Jelal
